Consortium PolStorEn

The Consortium of Electrochemical Energy Storage (PolStorEn) was established in 2018 under the patronage of the Polish Ministry of Energy. The main goal of PoStorEn activity is the cooperation between the scientific, industrial and government sectors that allow for the evolution and implementation of new solutions in the field of battery and energy innovations. All these issues are crucial for the development of electromobility in Poland.  
The founders of the PolStorEn consortium are:
  • Warsaw University of Technology,
  • Poznań University of Technology,
  • Gdańsk University of Technology,
  • Jagiellonian University,
  • University of Warsaw,
  • AGH University of Science and Technology,
  • Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals.

The consortium board on behalf of the Jagiellonian University includes prof. Grzegorz Sulka Ph.D., D.Sc. and Marcin Molenda Ph.D., D.Sc. As part of the consortium, the Jagiellonian University is responsible for coordinating work related to the integration of solutions and the development of products in the field of energy storage.
